The BTC9090, BTC9100 & BTC9300 Fuzzy Logic, plus PID microprocessor controllers, incorporates a dual 4-digit LED display, indicating process and set-point values. The Fuzzy Logic technology enables a process to reach a predetermined set-point in the shortest time, with the minimum of overshoot during power-up or external load disturbance. The units are 1/16 DIN. BTC9300 has an IP65 front panel
The wide selection of sensor types (thermocouple types K, J, T, E, N, B, R, S or Pt100), set points, control modes, alarm modes and 'C/'F are all held in a non-volatile memory, which is retained for 10 years if the unit is left unpowered. The BTC9300 may be configured for current or voltage inputs. Manual control of the output is also possible. Offset and shift functions allow process values to be readily corrected for sensor errors and on-site recalibrations.
The dual 4-digit LED display has a fully programmable decimal point, therefore, they can be configured for 0.1'C or 1'C temperatures. The controller incorporates an auto-tuning function that determines the correct proportional band, rate and reset values to provide accurate control with the minimal of overshoot and temperature oscillation.
Powered by 20-32V or 90-264V supply, the controller incorporates a 2 amp control relay output and 1x 2 amp alarm relay output (BTC9090), 2x 2 amp alarm relay outputs (BTC9100, BTC9300). Alternative output options include SSR, 4-2OmA and 0-10 volts. 4-20mA Retransmission is also available for BTC9100, & BTC9300
All 3 models have programmable rate of temperature rise and an inbuilt timer that can maintain a temperature as long as required before switching off.
